The Harvester Christian Academy Hawks will square off against the Cornerstone Prep Academy Cougars at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Harvester Christian Academy has five straight victories, Cornerstone Prep Academy has three straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
Harvester Christian Academy's pitching crew heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Monday. They blew past Johnson Ferry Christian Academy 12-0. The result was nothing new for the Hawks, who have now won four contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Aubrey Young and Ryland Nichols did most of the damage at the plate: Young went 3-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI, while Nichols scored two runs and stole a base while going 3-for-3. The dominant performance gave Nichols a new career-high in hits. The team also got some help courtesy of Auston Young, who scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances.
They weren't the only ones working in the hit department: Harvester Christian Academy kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Johnson Ferry Christian Academy only managed five hits.
Meanwhile, Cornerstone Prep Academy came up short against The King's Academy on Thursday, falling 15-3.
Isaiah Stahl made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole a base while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Nicholas Squires, who scored a run and stole Two bases. while going 1-for-2.
Cornerstone Prep Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Harvester Christian Academy, their win bumped their record up to 6-2.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Friday as neither team is afraid to steal. Harvester Christian Academy has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 4.8 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Cornerstone Prep Academy struggles in that department as they've been averaging 4 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Everything went Harvester Christian Academy's way against Cornerstone Prep Academy in their previous meeting back in February, as Harvester Christian Academy made off with a 25-5 victory.
