Basketball Recap: Cape Fear Colts vs. Lumberton Pirates
Cape Fear lost against Lumberton back in December of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Cape Fear Colts took a hard 66-52 fall against the Lumberton Pirates. Cape Fear's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Dylan Parker, who went 5-for-10 on his way to 13 points. The dominant performance also gave Parker a new career-high in assists (four). Another player making a difference was Chosen Wynn, who posted eight points and eight rebounds.
Jaiden Shephard continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Lumberton, dropping a double-double with 15 points and 14 boards.
