Basketball Game Preview: Animo Bunche Stallions vs. USC-MAE Trojans

The Animo Bunche Stallions will head out on the road to face off against the USC-MAE Trojans at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. Animo Bunche's defense has only allowed 26.3 points per game this season, so USC-MAE's offense will have their work cut out for them.

It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 32-3, which was the final score in Animo Bunche's tilt against Central City Value on Wednesday. The defeat continues a trend for the Stallions in their matchups with the Jaguars: they've now lost four in a row.

Meanwhile, USC-MAE waltzed into their game on Monday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They blew past the Suns 31-9. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Trojans have posted since December 2, 2024.

Animo Bunche's loss dropped their record down to 4-7. As for USC-MAE, their win bumped their record up to 5-6.

Animo Bunche came up short against USC-MAE in their previous matchup back in January of 2024, falling 23-12. Can Animo Bunche avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
