Football Recap: Kimball Takes Down Paynesville in a Playoff Battle

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Kimball had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. They enjoyed a cozy 14-0 win over the Paynesville Bulldogs. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 44-0 back in September.

Kimball's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-5. Those home wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 0.0 points on average over those games. As for Paynesville, they now also have a losing record of 4-5.

Coming up, Kimball will face off against Eden Valley-Watkins on Saturday. The Eagles' defense has only allowed 13.9 points per game this season, so the Cubs' offense will have their work cut out for them. Paynesville does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
