Volleyball Recap: Hanford Comes Up Short

Hanford lost against Redwood back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Bullpups took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Rangers. The Bullpups have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Redwood can attribute much of their success to Journey Vela, who had 15 digs and three aces. Vela is crushing it when it comes to digs: she's had at least ten every time she's taken the court this season.

Hanford's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Redwood, the victory made it two in a row for them and also bumps their season record up to 2-4.

Hanford has already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Sanger West on the 30th. As for Redwood, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Sunnyside on the 30th.
