Recap: San Gabriel Academy Eagles vs. The Webb Schools Gauls
The San Gabriel Academy Eagles won against The Webb Schools Gauls last Monday with 44 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Wednesday. San Gabriel Academy took down the Gauls 44-25. San Gabriel Academy pushed the score to 37-15 by the end of the third, a deficit the Gauls cut but never quite recovered from.
Several Gauls players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Pristine Thomas, who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and ten rebounds. Thomas is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last 11 games she's played. Nicole Samson was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with ten rebounds.
San Gabriel Academy's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-9. As for The Webb Schools, their loss dropped their record down to 13-10.
San Gabriel Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. The Webb Schools will look to defend their home court on Friday against the Jaguars at 5:00 p.m. Palmdale Academy Charter School is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'.
