Basketball Recap: Upper Lake Takes a Loss

Upper Lake was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They took a 52-37 bruising from the Kelseyville Knights. While losing is never fun, the Cougars can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 926th, while the Knights are ranked 397th).

Upper Lake's defeat dropped their record down to 6-13. As for Kelseyville, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 14-8 record this season.

Looking ahead, Upper Lake is taking a road trip to face off against Lower Lake at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Kelseyville, they will host Clear Lake at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
