Soccer Game Preview: Dacula vs. Collins Hill

It'll be a Battle of the Birds when Dacula face off against Collins Hill at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Dacula will be looking to extend their current seven-game winning streak.

Dacula took a three-goal loss the last time they faced off against Mill Creek, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. Dacula's defense stepped up to hand Mill Creek a 1-0 shutout on Tuesday. Given the Falcons' advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia soccer rankings (they are ranked ninth, while the Hawks are ranked 160th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, after a string of five wins, Collins Hill's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They fell just short of Archer by a score of 2-1. The contest was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but the Eagles couldn't quite close it out.

Collins Hill's defeat dropped their record down to 8-3. As for Dacula, they pushed their record up to 7-1 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home.

Dacula came up short against Collins Hill in their previous matchup back in March of 2024, falling 2-0. Can Dacula avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
