Maryvale won the last time they faced Camelback and things went their way  on Tuesday too. The Panthers came out on top against the Spartans by a score of  3-1. The  victory made it back-to-back  wins for the Panthers.
 Maryvale had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 21-25, 25-21, 26-24,  25-18.
Their offense was headlined by  Viridiana Trejo Rios and  Aniya Taylor, who picked up eight kills apiece. They got some help from  Melissa Higuera and her 16 assists.  Alexia Rodriguez controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.
Maryvale's  win was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 3-9. As for Camelback, they dropped their record down to 2-12 with the  loss, which was their fifth straight  at home.
 Maryvale has already played their next matchup,  a  3-1  defeat against Browne on the 16th. As for Camelback, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next  contest,  a  3-1  victory against Washington on the 20th.
