It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Durant ultimately got the result they hoped for on Thursday. They had just enough and edged out the Louisa-Muscatine Falcons 6-5. The Wildcats haven't had any issues with the Falcons recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

The team relied heavily on Isaac Rostenbach, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and one run. Those three RBI gave him a new career-high. Kaden Sickels was another key player, getting on base in two of his four plate appearances with one stolen base and one run.

Durant's victory bumped their record up to 3-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Durant will face off against West Branch at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Louisa-Muscatine, they will head out to face off against Lone Tree at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
