Basketball Recap: Calaveras Makes It Six in a Row on the Road

Calaveras had won five straight road games and Emma Clark did her part to make it six on Friday. The Calaveras Red Hawks blew past the Summerville Bears 50-21 thanks in part to Clark, who went 6 for 10 on her way to 15 points in addition to seven steals and five rebounds. She is trending in the right direction considering she's improved her point production for three straight games.

Another player making a difference was Rami Adams, who posted seven points and three steals. Those three steals gave her a new career-high.

Calaveras is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 12-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 50.3 points per game. As for Summerville, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-8.

Calaveras will challenge Big Valley Christian at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Calaveras is facing Big Valley Christian at the right time seeing as Big Valley Christian is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Summerville, they and Riverbank will meet on Tuesday for a tough Bear Battle. Riverbank has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 193 points over their last three contests.
