Soccer Game Preview: North Salinas vs. Carmel

The North Salinas Vikings will face off against the Carmel Padres at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. North Salinas' offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

On Tuesday, North Salinas came up short against Alisal and fell 3-1.

Meanwhile, Carmel and Pacific Collegiate finished up their matchup with a 1-1 draw on Friday.

Carmel's goal came courtesy of Eva Sedillos, who's now up to six this season.

North Salinas' defeat dropped their record down to 1-11-1. With that draw, Carmel's record moves to 3-5-5.

North Salinas came up short against Carmel when the teams last played on January 8th, falling 2-0. Can North Salinas avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
