Basketball Recap: Centennial Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Centennial can now relate to. They fell just short of the Sierra Pacific Golden Bears by a score of 56-53 on Wednesday. The matchup was a 28-28 toss-up at halftime, but the Golden Hawks couldn't quite close it out.

Centennial's defeat dropped their record down to 28-3. As for Sierra Pacific, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 18-11.

Centennial does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Sierra Pacific, they will square off against Clovis North at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
