Basketball Recap: Jefferson Comes Up Short

Jefferson and Sotomayor squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but Jefferson had to settle for second. They fell 35-26 to the Sotomayor Wolves. If the Democrats were looking for revenge after losing 53-49 to them when the teams met back in February of 2017, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Jefferson has also traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last seven matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-12 record this season. The victory made it two in a row for Sotomayor and bumps their season record up to 10-9.

As of now, neither Jefferson nor Sotomayor have any future games scheduled.
