Basketball Recap: Steele Canyon Takes a Loss

After flying high against Helix last Friday, Steele Canyon came back down to earth. The Steele Canyon Cougars were dealt a 70-29 loss at the hands of the Grossmont Foothillers on Tuesday. The Cougars have struggled against the Foothillers recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

Steele Canyon's defeat dropped their record down to 9-15. As for Grossmont, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 18-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Steele Canyon has already played their next contest (against Granite Hills), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Grossmont has also has no score uploaded for their next match, this one against Helix.
