Baseball Recap: Dalton Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

Dalton entered their tilt with Southeast Whitfield County on Wednesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They blew past the Raiders 13-2. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 20-0 victory on Tuesday.

Charles Chappelle was incredible, firing off two home runs, seven RBI, and one double while going 3-for-4. Those two home runs gave him a new career-high. Erwin Palma was another key player, going 2-for-3 with four RBI and one run.

Dalton was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .417. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .357 or higher in four consecutive games.

Dalton's win bumped their record up to 17-5. As for Southeast Whitfield County, their loss was their 23rd straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-22.
