Basketball Recap: Ja'mya Muhammad's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Chester over Executive Education Academy Charter School

Chester was the 48-37 winner over Executive Education Academy Charter School when they last played one another back in December of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Chester Clippers took a 54-40 bruising from the Executive Education Academy Charter School Raptors on Saturday.

Chester's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ja'Mya Muhammad, who went 7 for 8 on her way to 18 points and seven rebounds. The dominant performance also gave Muhammad a new career-high in field goal percentage (88%). Another player making a difference was Imani Dorsey, who went 5 of 11 en route to 13 points.

Chester's defeat dropped their record down to 18-4. As for Executive Education Academy Charter School, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a massive bump to their 12-8 record this season.
