Vacaville Christian had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They never let the Vanguard College Prep Lions onto the board and left with a 10-0 win on Friday. The Falcons might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight contests by three goals or more this season.

They hit Vanguard College Prep with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Jayla Swindle (5), Ginette Nason (3), Layla Heard, and Elena Viscay.

The victory (which was Vacaville Christian's third in a row) raised their record to 12-4. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those three matches. As for Vanguard College Prep, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost nine of their last 11 games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 4-14 record this season.

Looking ahead, Vacaville Christian will square off against Golden Sierra at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Golden Sierra is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.7 goals per game this season. Vanguard College Prep does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
