Soccer Recap: North Salinas Takes a Loss

North Salinas was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the North Monterey County Condors. The matchup was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but the Vikings couldn't quite close it out.

North Salinas' defeat dropped their record down to 1-15-1. As for North Monterey County, their win bumped their record up to 13-4-3.

Looking ahead, North Salinas will challenge Pajaro Valley at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. Pajaro Valley is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.5 goals per game this season. As for North Monterey County, they will take on Monte Vista Christian at 5:45 p.m. on Thursday. North Monterey County's last five contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
