Baseball Game Preview: Mountain View Bears vs. Milton Eagles

The Mountain View Bears will face off against the Milton Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Mountain View has given up an average of 6.6 runs per game this season, but Monday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Mountain View managed to slip by Brookwood the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. Mountain View lost 19-4 to Brookwood on Saturday.

Grayson Weed made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 1-for-1 with two RBI and one double. Those two RBI gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Nick Clayborn, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-1.

Meanwhile, Milton can bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They walked away with a 5-1 win over Roswell. The game was the first time the Eagles have beaten the Hornets on their field since April 20, 2021.

Milton's victory bumped their record up to 7-12. As for Mountain View, they now have a losing record of 8-9.
