Softball Recap: Northside Takes a Loss

Northside fell victim to Thomas County Central and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They fell just short of the Yellow Jackets by a score of 2-0. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Yellow Jackets this season, with their most recent defeat being a 16-1 loss on Thursday.

Northside is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-4. As for Thomas County Central, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 6-1.

Looking ahead, Northside will challenge Lee County at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Thomas County Central, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 12-3 win against Kennesaw Mountain on the 22nd.
