Basketball Game Preview: Scranton Knights vs. North Pocono Trojans

The Scranton Knights will venture away from home to face off against the North Pocono Trojans at 6:45 p.m. on Thursday. Scranton will be strutting in after a win while North Pocono will be coming in after a loss.

Scranton will bounce into Thursday's contest after beating Wyoming Valley West, who they had gone 0-5 against in their five prior meetings. Scranton took their game on Monday with ease, bagging a 59-24 victory over Wyoming Valley West. The match marked the Knights' most dominant win of the season so far.

Meanwhile, North Pocono had to suffer through a 70-28 loss at the hands of Hazleton Area.

North Pocono's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Scranton, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-1.

Everything went Scranton's way against North Pocono when the teams last played back in January, as Scranton made off with a 59-39 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Scranton since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
