Baseball Preview: Morrow Mustangs vs. Lovejoy Wildcats
Morrow hasn't had much luck against Lovejoy recently, but that could start to change on Monday. Morrow will be playing in front of their home fans against Lovejoy at 5:00 p.m. Morrow is coming into the contest hot, having won their last three games.
Morrow gave up the first runs last Friday, but they didn't let that get them down. They were the clear victors by an 18-5 margin over Banneker.

Bryce Glass was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he struck out six batters over 2.1 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and not a single walk). Glass was also big at the plate, scoring three runs and stealing two bases while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances. He has become a key player for Morrow: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two stolen bases, but 5-9 otherwise.
In other batting news, Morrow got a massive performance out of Freddie Woods, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-4. That's the most runs Woods has posted since back in February. Another player making a difference was Malachi Mingo, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-4.
Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Lovejoy faced off against Newnan on Friday. Lovejoy lost 12-1 to Newnan. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Lovejoy's loss dropped their record down to 5-8-1. As for Morrow, the win got them back to even at 9-9.
