Softball Recap: Darrington's Victory on Thursday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Darrington had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 11.7 runs) and they went ahead and made it four on Thursday. Everything went their way against the La Conner Braves as they made off with a 16-6 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 16-1 on Tuesday.

Darrington's victory bumped their record up to 10-3. As for La Conner, they dropped their record down to 2-10 with the defeat, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Darrington will face off against Concrete at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Lions have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 19.75 runs per game on average), something the Loggers will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for La Conner, they will take on Friday Harbor at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
