While Brentwood put up some runs on Thursday, the same can't be said for Westminster Christian Academy. The War Eagles blew past the Lions 10-0. The War Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten matches by seven runs or more this season.

The team relied heavily on Grady Boutelle, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two doubles, one stolen base, and two RBI. Those two doubles gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Rhett Hancock, who went 1-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

Brentwood always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .531. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Westminster Christian Academy only posted an OBP of .118.

Brentwood has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-12 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.1 runs on average over those games. As for Westminster Christian Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-13.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Brentwood beat the Lions by a score of 6-0 later that day.
