Softball Recap: Iowa City West Takes a Loss

Monday just wasn't the day for Iowa City West's offense. They came up short against the Dallas Center-Grimes Mustangs on Monday, falling 9-0. The Trojans just can't catch a break and have now endured five losses in a row.

Iowa City West's defeat dropped their record down to 5-15. As for Dallas Center-Grimes, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 30-6.

Looking ahead, Iowa City West will challenge Davenport North on Thursday. As for Dallas Center-Grimes, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, an 8-3 victory against Northwest on the 8th.
