After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Rock Creek, Concordia was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They breezed past the Norton Bluejays to the tune of 36-6. That looming 36-6 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Panthers yet this season.

This one was won in the trenches and the lion's share of the credit has to go to Ayden Krier and Braytin Hake. Krier picked up 88 receiving yards and one touchdown while Hake rushed for 47 yards and one score. Hake was even better on defense, forcing one fumble and making six total tackles.

Concordia's run defense was locked in: Norton could only muster 3.3 yards per carry. The team can thank Parker Jackson for the heroic effort on defense: he. Concordia's ground attack was stronger, having averaged 4.6.

Despite the loss, Norton still got an impressive performance from Tyler Backman, who rushed for 100 yards and one TD.

The victory got Concordia back to even at 4-4. As for Norton, their defeat was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 0-8.
