Football Recap: Lac qui Parle Valley Comes Up Short

Lac qui Parle Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss dating back to last season. They lost to the MACCRAY Wolverines on the road by a 20-6 margin. The Eagles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wolverines apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Lac qui Parle Valley's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for MACCRAY, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-2.

Lac qui Parle Valley and MACCRAY could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Minnesota Rankings. The Eagles will square off against Murray County Central at 7:00 p.m. on Friday with a big rank disadvantage (256 vs. 121). Meanwhile, MACCRAY (ranked 217th) will meet Minneota (ranked fourth) at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
