Baseball Recap: Etowah Falls Short of Lowndes in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Etowah can now relate to. They fell 4-1 to the Lowndes Vikings on Tuesday. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Vikings this season, with their most recent loss being a 4-3 defeat on Tuesday.

Etowah's loss dropped their record down to 34-4. As for Lowndes, they are on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 13 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 28-11 record this season.

As of now, neither Etowah nor Lowndes have any future games scheduled.
