Northview and Southwest DeKalb are an even 3-3 against one another since March of 2021, but likely not for long. The Northview Titans will head out to challenge the Southwest DeKalb Panthers at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Northview has given up an average of 8 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week.

Northview came into their game on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against Druid Hills, falling 16-5.

Northview saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Graham Forney, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

Meanwhile, Southwest DeKalb fell victim to Midtown and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They lost 15-0 to the Knights. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Southwest DeKalb's defeat dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Northview, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-9 record this season.

Northview came out on top in a nail-biter against Southwest DeKalb in their previous matchup on Wednesday, sneaking past 4-2. The rematch might be a little tougher for Northview since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
