Basketball Recap: Spring-Ford Now 10-2 over Last 12 Games

Spring-Ford had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 39.5 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They put the hurt on the Abington Galloping Ghosts with a sharp 69-48 victory. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Rams also won the last time the pair played back in March of 2021.

Spring-Ford got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Kareena Preuss out in front who went 7 for 10 on her way to 16 points and eight rebounds. Preuss' afternoon made it three games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points. Christina Tiffan was another key player, going 6 of 11 en route to 15 points.

Spring-Ford was working as a unit and finished the game with 24 assists. That's the most assists they've posted since back in December of 2024.

Spring-Ford is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 games, which provided a nice bump to their 16-6 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.7 points per game. As for Abington, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-10.

Spring-Ford will welcome Methacton at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Abington does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
