Softball Recap: Vinton-Shellsburg Takes a Loss

Vinton-Shellsburg fell victim to West Delaware and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They lost 10-0 to the Hawks. The Vikings haven't had much luck with the Hawks recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

Vinton-Shellsburg's loss dropped their record down to 4-14. As for West Delaware, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-6 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: West Delaware beat Vinton-Shellsburg by a score of 11-0 later that day.
