Baseball Recap: Waldron Takes a Loss

Waldron was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 19-3 to the Dardanelle Sand Lizards. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Bulldogs of the 7-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Waldron's loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Dardanelle, their win bumped their record up to 5-6.

Waldron will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Mena at 4:30 p.m. on April 1. As for Dardanelle, they will square off against Rose Bud at 5:30 p.m. on the 29th.
