Soccer Recap: Pacifica Takes a Loss

Pacifica was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They lost 4-0 to the Buena Bulldogs. While losing is never fun, Pacifica can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 716th, while Buena are ranked 193rd).

Pacifica's loss dropped their record down to 2-9-3. As for Buena, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-8-4.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Pacifica will face off against rival Ventura at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Buena is set to challenge their familiar foe San Marcos at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
