Soccer Recap: Solon Comes Up Short

Solon and Twinsburg squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Solon had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Tigers by a score of 1-0. Solon haven't had much luck with Twinsburg recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Solon's defeat dropped their record down to 11-6-1. As for Twinsburg, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-3-2 record this season.

While Solon had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
