Baseball Recap: St. Francis Takes a Loss

St. Francis fell victim to Blaine and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 10-0 to the Bengals, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Saints haven't had much luck with the Bengals recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

St. Francis' defeat dropped their record down to 9-9. As for Blaine, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-9.

St. Francis does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Blaine, they will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Mounds View at 4:30 p.m. The Mustangs' pitching crew has only allowed 3.9 runs per game this season, so the Bengals' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
