Baseball Recap: Menasha Comes Up Short

If Menasha was feeling good fresh off their 8-0 takedown of Plymouth on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Bluejays fell 7-3 to the Pulaski Red Raiders on Thursday. The Bluejays were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Red Raiders apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

Menasha has also been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-13 record this season. Those losses can't be blamed on the team's hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.1 runs over those games. As for Pulaski, their win bumped their record up to 17-9.

Looking ahead, Menasha is taking a road trip to take on Slinger at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Pulaski, they will challenge Ashwaubenon at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Red Raiders' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Jaguars have averaged an impressive 6.3 runs per game this season.
