Southmoreland picks up seventh straight win at home

Recap: Southmoreland Scotties vs. Albert Gallatin Colonials

The Southmoreland Scotties scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Thursday. Everything went their way against Albert Gallatin as Southmoreland made off with a 83-63 win. Southmoreland has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven games by 20 points or more this season.

Southmoreland was led to victory by Ty Keffer and Noah Felentzer. Keffer scored 24 points, while Felentzer scored 27 points. Keffer hasn't dropped below 15points for five straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Elliot Premus, who scored 14 points.

Defeat or not, Albert Gallatin got some senior leadership from Blake White and Mykel Belt. White scored 25 points along with eight rebounds and eight steals, while Belt. scored 17 points along with five rebounds and two steals. White has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last five times he's played. Shymere Wilson was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with three steals.

Southmoreland pushed their record up to 13-2 with that victory, which was their seventh straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 73.0 points per game. As for Albert Gallatin, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-6.

Uniontown will be coming into the match with an undefeated record on the line. As for Albert Gallatin, they will be playing at home against Elizabeth Forward at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Elizabeth Forward is coming into the matchup on a four-game losing streak.
