Baseball Game Preview: Crisp Academy Wildcats vs. Fullington Academy Trojans

Crisp Academy is 2-8 against Fullington Academy since March of 2022 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Crisp Academy Wildcats will host the Fullington Academy Trojans at 4:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Crisp Academy has three straight victories, Fullington Academy has nine straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

Crisp Academy took a ten-run loss the last time they faced off against Covenant Academy, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. Crisp Academy won by a run and slipped past Covenant Academy 7-6.

The team relied heavily on Reese Reed, who scored a run and stole Three bases. while going 2-for-3. He also brought in three RBI, marking his first of the season.

Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for Fullington Academy's offense. They came up short against Georgia Christian on Friday, falling 15-0. Trojans fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team's lost against the Generals since on Friday.

Fullington Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Crisp Academy, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Crisp Academy took their win against Fullington Academy when the teams last played on Thursday by a conclusive 17-7. Will Crisp Academy repeat their success, or does Fullington Academy have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
