Baseball Recap: New Hampstead Takes a Loss

New Hampstead fell victim to Benedictine and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They lost 12-0 to the Cadets. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cadets this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 17-4 on Tuesday.

New Hampstead saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Messiah Worriels, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

New Hampstead's loss was their eighth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 6-15. As for Benedictine, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 14-15.

While New Hampstead had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
