Baseball Game Preview: Eastern Musketeers vs. North Harrison Cougars

Eastern is 2-7 against North Harrison since May of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Monday. The Musketeers will look to defend their home field against the Cougars at 5:30 p.m.

On Friday, Eastern came up short against Borden and fell 5-1.

Eastern saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Carter Smith, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one double.

Meanwhile, North Harrison got themselves on the board against Austin on Thursday, but Austin never followed suit. They were the clear victors by a 10-0 margin over the Eagles. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Cougars.

Eastern's defeat dropped their record down to 8-11. As for North Harrison, they now have a winning record of 12-11.

Eastern skirted past North Harrison 2-1 when the teams last played back in May of 2025. Do the Musketeers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Cougars turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
