Softball Game Preview: St. Anne-Pacelli Vikings vs. Calvary Christian Knights

For the first time this season, St. Anne-Pacelli will have a chance to prove themselves in a conference matchup. They will square off against the Calvary Christian Knights at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

If St. Anne-Pacelli beats Calvary Christian with 12 runs on Thursday, it's going to be the squad's new lucky number: they've won their past two matchups with that exact score. The Vikings didn't even let Mount de Sales Academy on the board on Tuesday, marking the Vikings' second-straight 12-0 shutout. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Vikings.

Bella Mcbride was excellent, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. Another player making a difference was Emma Grace Andrews, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base and one run.

Meanwhile, Calvary Christian posted their closest win since October 7, 2024 on Monday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-2 victory over Southwest Georgia Academy.

St. Anne-Pacelli now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Calvary Christian, their win bumped their record up to 3-0.
