Softball Recap: Roff Comes Up Short

Roff was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 4-3 heartbreaker at the hands of the Merritt Oilers.

Roff's defeat dropped their record down to 19-11. As for Merritt, their win bumped their record up to 9-4.

Coincidentally, Roff and Merritt will both be playing Howe the next time they take the field. The Tigers will head out to face the Lions at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, while the Oilers will play them later in the day, at 3:30 p.m.
