Soccer Recap: Concord Wins Going Away Against Plymouth

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Lake Central, Concord was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They put the hurt on the Plymouth Pilgrims/Rockies with a sharp 5-2 victory. The result was nothing new for Concord, who have now won five matchups by three goals or more so far this season.

They hit Plymouth with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Angeles Ramirez-Sonora (2), Mia Gallegos, Allison DeFreese, and Andrea Lara.

The win snapped Concord's losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 8-4 record. As for Plymouth, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-7-3 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Concord will venture away from home to challenge New Prairie at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Plymouth, they will head out to square off against Wawasee at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
