Warner waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They came out on top against the Howe Lions by a score of 7-2. This was payback for the Eagles, who suffered a 13-3 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Warner's win bumped their record up to 15-3. As for Howe, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 14-9 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Warner will take on Wister at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Wildcats' pitching crew has only allowed 2.7 runs per game this season, so the Eagles' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Howe, they will head out to face off against Claremore at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Lions 3.3, the Zebras 2.7) so any runs scored will be well earned.
