Softball Recap: Mason's Undefeated Season over After Four Games + How To Watch

Monday just wasn't the day for Mason's offense. They lost 6-0 to the Varnum Whippets on Monday. The loss was the Eagles' first of the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Mason fell to 3-1. As for Varnum, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 4-5 record this season.

Mason will challenge Macomb at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Eagles 1.5, the Hornets 3.1) so any runs scored will be well earned. As for Varnum, they will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Allen at 5:00 p.m. The Whippets will need to watch out since the Mustangs have now posted at least ten runs in their last four contests.
