Soccer Recap: Chaminade Gets Big Victory over Higher-Ranked Harvard-Westlake

Chaminade was not the first on the board on Monday, but they got there more often. They won by a goal and slipped past the Harvard-Westlake Wolverines 3-2. The win was all the more spectacular given the Eagles' disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 168th, while the Wolverines are ranked fifth).

Natalie Kokenda and Kelly Rothe scored all three of Chaminade's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 13 goals.

Chaminade's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-8-3. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 11 goals over those three matchups.
