Football Recap: Compton Takes a Loss

Compton lost against Millikan back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Tarbabes were outmatched by the Rams and fell 42-14.

Leton Washington threw for 187 yards and two touchdowns. Edward Rivera was his top target, picking up 86 receiving yards.

Jude Nelson had another great game (as he tends to do), picking up 151 receiving yards and four TDs for Millikan. Those four receiving touchdowns gave Nelson a new career-high. Jay Williams did his part to keep the secondary busy, picking up 115 receiving yards.

Compton now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Millikan, the win got them back to even at 5-5.

Coming up, Compton will head out on the road to take on Long Beach Poly at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Millikan does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
