Basketball Recap: Make It Four in a Row for San Marin

San Marin won the last time they faced Dixon and things went their way on Saturday too. The San Marin Mustangs took down the Dixon Rams 45-29. Given the Mustangs' advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 132nd, while the Rams are ranked 897th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

When it comes to explaining why Dixon lost, don't look at Emily Morris. Despite the final result, she posted 12 points and five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Savanah Graef, who put up six points.

The win (which was San Marin's fourth in a row) raised their record to 17-5. As for Dixon, they dropped their record down to 6-13 with the loss, which was their third straight at home.

San Marin wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 54-42 defeat against Redwood on the 28th. As for Dixon, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 52-33 loss against Rio Linda on the 28th.
