Softball Recap: Gothenburg Takes a Loss

Gothenburg's last matchup with Freeman could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's game on Monday. The Swedes came up short against the Falcons, falling 9-1. The Swedes have struggled against the Falcons recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Gothenburg saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Briony Aden, who went 1-for-3 with one RBI.

Gothenburg's defeat dropped their record down to 9-13. As for Freeman, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 21-11 record this season.

As of now, neither Gothenburg nor Freeman have any future games scheduled.
